The Blue Vuno Puffy Goose 1000 down sleeping bags are Vuno’s best sleeping bags. They feature square baffles which hold the down filling in place stopping it from shifting to one side of the sleeping bag. When using  a sleeping bag with long baffles the down can shift to one side of the bag while you sleep. This shifting can result in cold spots. The square baffle design of these bags reduces these cold spots keeping your whole body warmer on cold nights.

The bag features  a combination of top fasteners which can be used to make the bag warmer or cooler depending on conditions. Rectangular Velcro fasteners are used when the sleeping bag is fully zipper up to prevent the zipper from unzipping while you move around. While the round Velcro fastener is used to keep the hood of the sleeping bag closed on the colder nights.

A high quality dual YKK zipper is included at both ends of the bag. The zipper can be opened 40cm  from the bottom if your feet start to feel a bit warm or fully closed when it gets cold.

These fastening options make these sleeping bags versatile and suitable for use throughout most of the year.

Another great feature of these amazing down sleeping bags is the foot area. The foot area is a square shape measuring approximately 28 x 28 cm. This square shape gives your feet more room and reduces down squash. Because of this the down has more opportunity to loft out. This lofting out is necessary on down sleeping bags to create the pockets of warmth which keep you warm.

Important Notes

These sleeping bags have been in storage in their compression sacks for a while so will need to be aired out for a few days to restore their loft and volume. This will also help remove any residual smell which is typical of down sleeping bags.

When not in use store your Vuno sleeping bag in the provided storage bag. This will maximise the sleeping bags warmness and efficiency when it is next used.

Ensure you use a sleeping bag liner to reduce the need for cleaning. A sleeping bag liner will also keep you warmer as it ads another layer of protection.
