This winter tent will protect you from the elements all year round. It has a water proof rating of 3000mm and includes a snow skirt. This makes this one of the most versatile tents available.
Why is this tent so good?
These tents have a two door access. This not only makes it easy to enter and exit the tent it also gives extra room for storage. If you need to leave the tent in the night then you don’t have to crawl over the other person. There is also plenty of room t each door to store your gear without blocking the door.
When using this tent on a hot summers day the inner tent can be used on it’s own. Alternatively can use the inner tent during the day and over with flysheet at night. The flysheet is simple to add and remove using the tents buckles and tie straps.
If you are camping in an area with sand flies or mosquito’s you don’t need to worry. This tent has in inner tent with mesh panels. These mesh panels provide breathability while stopping the insects from entering the tent.
The means you can leave the outer tent doors open to keep the tent cool without having to worry.
The flysheet fabric is made from 210T polyester which is waterproof up to 3000 mm. This fabric is further waterproofed at the seems with silicon tape. Because of this you will stay dry during most downpours.
To ensure durability these tents are reinforced at the stress points and double stitched. The flysheet is easily removing using the snap lock buckles as shown below. This means the flysheet can be added quickly should it start raining.

Please note when using tents, condensation will build up overnight. While we sleep we will lose about 500ml of water while breathing. Because of this tents still get wet on the inside no matter how waterproof they are. In fact the more waterproof a tent is the higher the risk of condensation.
Tips to Reduce Condensation
- Roll up the snow skirt when not using the tent in snow.
- Try not to block the entrance too much with your gear.
- Encourage air flow through your tent.
- Do not bring warm food or drinks into the tent. If you do ensure the tent is well vented.
- If condensation can not be avoided the use a towel to wipe the ceiling of your tent down.
